When I was growing up my mother had a cookbook. It was “The American Woman’s Cook Book” curated and edited by Berolzheimer.
I adored this book with all my heart especially the opening up to the two page spread of a full color image of a tray of petit fours which tempted me to no end. They were so beautiful and delicate and precious.
